Forum Rules [Last Update: 9/29/09]
Must read before posting in any part of this forum.
Rules are not that hard to follow here, but please use common sense.
Also,
Before asking any questions, please make sure to read The FAQs. Any questions already answered in the FAQs will be ignored if asked again.
General:
-Treat others the way you want to be treated. Respect each other, and don't jerk around. Disagreements are fine as long as you don't abuse others. Consequences may begin from a small warning to a possible ban.
-Regarding critiques, since this is a cosplay-focused forum we'll be moderating a bit more than normal forums. We cosplay to show our love for a certain character or series, and this is definitely not a place to look for top models or superstars. Critiques are always welcomed, but we only allow constructive criticism. Blunt attacks on cosplayers for their looks will result in automatic suspension or ban.
-Please PLEASE do NOT discuss real-life issues here. (this includes politics and personal problems) If you really have to talk to someone about your personal life, PM someone or email them, don't post it on here in public.
Images/others:
-Don't use oversized images that'll go across the screen or stretch out the layout, and please DO NOT HOTLINK.
-Don't post images that doesn't belong to you and claim it's yours. Consequences may include a ban.
-If you're going to post other people's work (ie. cosplay photo, artwork etc), please ask the original creator for permission first, and properly credit them when you post. Saying that the image is from google or the art is from deviantArt isn't going to cut it, and it's considered theft, which will result in ban.
-Posting photos: you're now required to post at least one picture of yourself or with yourself in it whenever you create a new thread in the photos section. Threads without it will be locked. (P.S. this rule is created for the harassment of the members) Rule effective as of September 29th, 2009.
Sigs/Icons:
-Use common sense. Don't upload an overly big signature that'll take up half the page, or have a blinding icon. (neon colors are generally no good)
And That's it so far, this will be update as the forum goes.
Updates:
9/29/09 - New Photos section rule
10/25/08 - Included specific rules
9/27/08 - FAQs

Specific/Section rules:
Fanworks - (Fanart, fiction, dub, screencap edit, song, etc.
General rules
-DO NOT CLAIM ANYTHING THAT DOESN'T BELONG TO YOU AS YOURS.
-Posting someone else's work is ok as long as you have specifically asked for permission from the original owner and properly credit them in the post. (exception to graphics: if you use an original artwork from the creator/animators, simply state the series name and/or characters, and credit the original creator)
-Keep all content above PG13 under a spoiler tag with a warning above. (e.g. pairing, etc)
-You don't need to make a new thread for every new picture/chapter/photoshop edit/etc you made, feel free to just update on a single thread if you wish.
Fanarts:
-Please keep image under 900px length and width. If it stretches out the forum too much, it's recommended to put it under a link.
-Just to make life easier, make sure to have at least the character name somewhere on the subject or post to avoid confusion.
Fanfics:
-All fanfics posted will need to fill out this little form in the top post: (credits to Bunnyasha)
Title:
Author:
Rating:
Pairing:
Warning: (spoilers/bad language/etc)
Summary:
(all field required)
-On a small note for fanfics: since it IS a fanfiction, I expect at least decent English and proper spelling/grammar to the best of your ability. Fanfics with chatspeak, number letters, etc will be asked to change into proper format.
